The Cottage

Peppercorn Cottage was built in the late 18th-Century and was at one stage the village poor house charging a “peppercorn” rent. In the summer of 2018 we undertook a full renovation. Our aim was preserve the history and character of the cottage while adding the very best modern amenities and facilities, The cottage has a handmade well-equipped kitchen, crisp white linen, smart TV, high-speed internet, a woodburning stove and separate laundry facilities. With two bedrooms, one kingsize and one twin, the cottage sleeps four people, with plenty of parking and a private garden. We also welcome one well-behaved dog!

Peppercorn Cottage is ideally situated in the South Downs National Park with beautiful walks and historic cites and villages such as Winchester and Alresford on the doorstep.
